Charges of ill-treatment patients to a health care facility for the mentally ill ten people were arrested this morning in Ficarolo in the province of Rovigo.
The raid, conducted by NAS Carabinieri and police, went off shortly before five to the "Institutes Polesani." Two people, probably servants of the structure, were apprehended within the same; the other eight arrested were taken from their homes.

The investigation had started from the complaint filed last year by relatives of the victims who had noticed bruises and bruises on the body of their family guests.
Subsequent investigations have revealed an extremely serious situation: the ill-treatment, consisting of slapping, punching, shoving, hair-pulling, humiliation and harassment, were the order of the day.
The violence and brutality against defenseless patients had now become a tradition within the institution.

The health care facility, apparently model of functionality, actually have hidden behind the shuttered windows a real concentration camp, where they were forced those who were most in need of care and affection. The demands of the families of the victims to have an explanation of lesions found to loved ones hospitalized, the staff of the Institute was justified, every time, arguing that the guests were injured because of poor physical condition resulting from mobility problems or diseases psychiatric disorders.

Investigations are still ongoing to ascertain any responsibility for other people, even outside the facility, thanks to the results of the searches carried out at the offices of the "Institutes Polesani."
