The great tragedy of the countries of the global South

The great tragedy of the countries of the global South is in the imbalance between what they have to sell in the North and what they are forced to buy from it. For food, exporting what grows in monocultures imposed by multinationals (and that makes governments and local populations a fraction of its value, as the owners are precisely the societies of the North); matter what it takes to live, namely cereals and meat, paying, however, the normal market price. It 's inevitable that, in this way, accumulating a debt of the South against the North. But it is not only the problem: poor countries sell raw materials (minerals, precious woods, natural gas, oil) but are forced to buy from the north end products (machinery, transport equipment, computers, appliances, etc..). As subjects, precisely because they are still working, they cost less than the finished product, here's a new reason for the weakness of the South that is, precisely when to buy expensive prices and low prices when selling. Add to this gloomy picture the fact that many countries of the global South are ruled by military dictatorships they spend on arms purchases (from the North) a good part of the wealth of their countries and even a high percentage of those loans, those aids that, to quiet his conscience, the rich nations send them. In this way, the money that, for rent or natural goods sold (that sooner or later you run out) or loan (which sooner or later must be repaid), while flows into the coffers, very little is used to relieve the poverty of the population, and even better, to encourage future development. Wasting it on weapons and bribery, it is this dramatic and tragic future.
