Pacifism, the only real alternative
Mohandas Gandhi: "Nonviolence is not a garment to be put on and off at will. It dwells in the heart, and it must be an inseparable part of our being." Could this be the concept from which to give an answer to our world of terrorism and war. Perhaps it is really necessary to start from the hearts of men, though often come to doubt that they will have one!
Yet since the 70s of the twentieth century there who are fighting to reject war as a solution to a discord between nations. The America that before knowing the quagmire in Iraq, has met another, even worse, in Vietnam, he had a whole generation of young people who then were radically opposed to that war and every conflict. Since then, it has created many peace organizations that have often been accused of playing into the hands of the attackers as they reject the idea that there is a just war, though defensive, and therefore seem to leave open road to violence. Yet no one who is of sound mind may prefer war to peace, dialogue. It is to accept this truth. most often felt by people who by their rulers. Already reduce armaments would be an improvement. And 'This is one of the reasons why in 2008 we looked with concern at one of the last measures of the Bush administration that has promised to Israel, Saudi Arabia and Egypt supplies of combat aircraft and missiles and satellite-guided bombs. Moreover, these nations have for decades been the best customers of the great war industries not only American and perhaps, in conclusion, the seed of so many wars and so much hatred is right here: the need to have these powerful companies of food fights to see grow their profits. War is the best possible deal for an industrial really unscrupulous.
